Farewell To Summer

Summer ended and school has started many students are going to miss the late nights and waking up when they please. Diana Covarrubias, a senior at South East High School, is one of these many students.
For her summer vacation Covarrubias had a job babysitting she says, “It was horrible, she was a little spoiled brat.” She also stated that it was horrible, as many other babysitters would say when taking care a two-year old. But It got her things paid so nothing else really mattered. Also she volunteered at South East High School she says, “It was cool because they gave me free food.” The only thing they had her doing there was make copies.
During the summer Covarrubias noticed many trends going around such as girls wearing hippie head bands and gladiator sandals. She also went to the movie theatres. One movie she saw was Post-Grad which she gave 4 stars because she claims it was funny and had its sad moments going on. Another movie she saw was The Time Traveler’s Wife which, according to her, was really good because of the sad situations the couple had to go through in the movie.
Many people will miss their summer even if it was good or bad.
