Winter Break

December 21, 2009 was the beginning of winter break for the students of Southeast High School.

Among these students was a senior named Diana Covarrubias. During the break Covarrubias says she was working and had only one week to herself. Throughout that week Covarrubias says "I was lazy and just wanted to sleep." Covarrubias worked at Southeast Middle School stating she only filed papers at her time over there, during the break. As the holidays approached Covarrubias didn't seem to feel the Christmas spirit or happy for the New Year claiming it was like "whatevers." But for Christmas she received the present she was hoping for from her parents which was a digital camera. According to Covarrubias, break was nice just because there was no school.
